Mon Motors is a long-established dealer group with a strong presence across Wales and the South West, representing a wide range of Volkswagen Group brands. The business supplies and supports Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda, SEAT, and operates a Volkswagen Van Centre that looks after trade and fleet customers across a large territory.
Mon Motors has run the current site for 19 months, during which time the light commercial vehicle side has continued to grow. The focus is simple – supply vans that arrive with the right equipment already fitted, so customers can put them straight to work.

As Mon Motors’ van business developed, more customers began asking for incident recording and driver protection as standard on new vehicles. Sentinel dash cameras were specified on several key fleet deals, and the systems proved reliable and straightforward to integrate into Mon Motors’ preparation process.
One particular customer carries out building work for British Rail, so their fleet needs to operate around the clock with an extremely high requirement for safety. When they requested Sentinel systems on their vans, the recommendation was an easy one to make, based on positive experience with previous installations. That project helped confirm Sentinel as a trusted option for other fleets that needed the same level of protection.
Mon Motors positions itself as a genuine one-stop shop for van buyers. Rather than selling a basic vehicle and sending customers away to arrange additional work, the team coordinates everything through the dealership. When a fleet or trade customer orders a van, the build can have pretty much any additional extra installed, all managed by Mon Motors.
Volkswagen Crafter customers have been a particular focus. Since 2022, Mon Motors has supplied Sentinel dash cameras on more than 30 Crafter vans, with around 15 installations completed in the last 12 months alone. Cameras are treated as part of the agreed specification rather than an afterthought. By the time the customer collects the vehicle, the system is fitted, tested, and ready to use.
Bringing Sentinel into this process means customers don’t have to schedule separate appointments or send vans away again once they have taken delivery. Vehicles leave the Mon Motors site ready for daily use, with safety and recording equipment already in place.
Sentinel has become part of how Mon Motors delivers fully prepared vans, combining leading brands with practical safety technology that is installed, proven, and ready for use from the moment the customer takes the keys.
